So you want to be a Relief Chef?

A Relief Chef is a “hands on role” that requires a sound knowledge of the operating styles from branded to Michelin Star. Responsibilities include cooking, preparation and serving of meals and ensuring that the meals are delivered to exceptional standard as required by our clients. The day to day operations include overseeing our clients kitchen operation, staff supervision, managing stock and controlling wastage, setting up various functions and assisting with various catering tasks as required, ensuring all service requirements are delivered in accordance to our clients needs and expectations. And above all delivering the highest possible standards of hygiene.

You will need:
  • A minimum of 2 sets of good quality clean whites
  • A set of commercial Knives
  • Safety Shoes
  • A positive attitude
  • To be flexible
  • A current food hygiene certificate
  • A minimum of 2 years experience as a Head Chef/Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef with relevant qualifications
  • Above all honesty

Most of our jobs are live-in  (Without Charge),  However they can often be live-out and where possible we will try to match your location to the job.

Look after our clients to best of your ability and we will look after you and ensure where possible we have the best possible assignments with the best possible rates of pay.
